Our Mission & Vision

The Propeller Club Ports of the Sabine and Neches is dedicated to promoting, supporting, and celebrating the maritime industry that drives our region’s economy. As part of the International Propeller Club of the United States, we advocate for the maritime industry through education, networking, and community engagement.

Our vision is to ensure a thriving maritime sector across the Sabine-Neches Waterway by connecting industry professionals, supporting maritime education, and maintaining strong relationships between our three ports – Orange, Port Arthur, and Beaumont.

Leadership & Community Impact

Our volunteer-led organization works tirelessly to strengthen the maritime community through:

  • Supporting maritime education and workforce development
  • Hosting monthly meetings with industry leaders and experts
  • Organizing the annual Buddy Hicks Memorial Golf Tournament
  • Awarding scholarships to future maritime professional
  • Advocating for maritime infrastructure and policy
